entitled: "welcome home & welcome to 2004"

wow. i still have an account with diaryland! i was expecting to attempt the login, and be rejected..'you don't add enough entries. go away, veggiedog'.

everything looks the same in this little corner of the internet. most of my listed favorites have been loyal: 'updated 2 days ago', 'updated 1 day ago'. i must say, however, that my interest in reading other people's entries has dwindled. it's all about circumstance and proclivities, i tell you. one day i will be interested again. maybe.

so it's now 2004, and i have a new job (as of october), and a new home (as of december). i am feeling quite fulfilled. my job is in chinatown, at a design firm which mainly designs restaurants, along with some hotels, theaters, and residences. totally up my alley. and the people are all laid back and liberal minded. i fit in quite nicely.

my new apartment is in brooklyn - it's good to be back in the BK. Joe, Phoebe and I now reside in a garden apartment, in a brownstone, complete with large living room, large dining room/office/closet room, good sized kitchen, decent sized bathroom, and our bedroom is a small add-on at the back of the house (larger than our last bedroom, though). the living room has a beautiful non-working fireplace, tin ceiling, and a bay window, and their are double doors throughout the place. it is gorgeous and comfortable.

i think this year will be gorgeous and comfortable, as well.

song stuck in my head:
some song by the shins
